Overuse of 70% alcohol for cleaning and hand sanitizer

Posted , 1 user is following.

I have been using 70% IPA and 30 distilled water (purchased reputably not homemade) for cleaning and hand sanitizer during the pandemic. I am concerned about the long term impacts of using this - it is know to cause chest pain, are there any other complications - I think we have been a little excessive with the cleaning at times so the smell of IPA has been -a little strong at times. We try to ensure good ventilation but at times - we have not been able to- although we have only remained in the same environment while doing the cleaning.
