Ovestin Estriol

Hi,

I was using the Ovestin cream twice a week but upped it to 3 times around 6 months ago which really helped, over the last month I missed the odd time and this seems to have brought on n attack with pain down below and become more inconenant, its definitely not a UTI as I have had many and know the difference. Do you think it will be safe to take it 4 or 5 times this week as a one off, I ask as my doctor had previously said I should have a gap of 3 weeks before doing a block, any advice would be appreciated as this is making me feel quite low.

    Hi, I am brand new to this group. Your question is what I am also hoping to find answers to. I was just diagnosed with vaginal atrophy and given a RX for the Premarin cream 2x weekly. I have been reading that it should actually be started by using it every nite for 2-3 weeks, then 2 times weekly.I have been suffering with what I thought were UTI's all the time, yeast infections, sore itching area, puffiness, pelvic pain. This is all new to me. I am 57 and lost all my lady parts 5 years ago. I have been taking oral Estrodal but this new doctor said it wasnt very good and I was atrophied.

    Hi caz,

    I was on bio identical estriol cream and used it daily, just taking weekends off for three years with no problems. I'm on pellets now and will stay on them for the rest of my life.

    I will look into this also. I remember Suzanne Sommers talking about that in one of her books.
