Oxybutynin increasing urinary frequency?

I have been having this problem for about three months now - just woke up with the symptoms one day (the day after a really stressful event, which I believe triggered the symptoms). A literal constant urge to pee, even right after I have gone, occasional pelvic/bladder pain, as well as constipation that started at the same time as the constant urge (because it started at the same time I believe the constipation is related to the bladder issues).
I have a hunch that my problem is actually a pelvic floor issue, but I just saw a urogynecologist who prescribed Oxybutynin 5 mg twice a day. So far I have noticed only that it gives me a dry throat and seems to be making my urinary frequency worse. I had to track my urination before the appointment and was generally urinating about 2 oz every 2 hours, but now it seems that I have been urinating about 2 oz every hour. The only change I have made is starting this medication two days ago. Does anyone else have this experience? Could this medicine actually be making my problem worse?

Rachel Flush That Stuff Down The Toilet. I Was On In Too. I have mixed incontinence where I leak for 5 minutes to an hour. I Was Diagnosed With The Condition A year Ago And They Put Me On The Same Medication. The Same Symptoms You Are Experiencing, I Experienced Too... Your Better Off Wearing Diapers Like Me... I Tried Everything and nothing worked... I've tried every disposable diaper on the market just to see if they worked. And The Only Product I Use And I Strongly Suggest You Try Is The M3 Pull Ups By ABENA... I Am A 19 Year Old College Student Who Is Always Active And Constantly Going Places. These Pull Ups Saved My Life... I Can Do Anything All Day And They Last up too 8 hours with comfort you have never experienced before. I am telling you out of all honesty if you go the medical route it only gets worse... Your better off living like I do... Just Living with the problem... There Will Be a cure one day but what they have now doesn't work.. I Would Just Wait Like I Am until that day comes. And Embrace your problem and accept it for what it is
