Oxygen & Headaches

smile Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all coping in this warmer weather.

Personally I don’t like it, it makes me more SOB, but I have never

liked the heat!

I have been complaining for at least 3 years about pounding headaches,

I have had my eyes tested & even with new glasses I still suffer.

I have a new consultant & luckily I remembered to tell her & she immediately said I should have an overnight sleep test with

a finger pulse Oximeter.

I get the results in a couple of weeks but I have a question for all you Oxygen users and was wondering if........

Can you remember if you suffered from headaches, especially when

waking and did they stop when you started using Oxygen?

Many Thanks, Knitty

smile

    Hi Flossie,

I know why I have put on so much weight.....

Lack of phyical exercise & eating too much!

I am hoping that moving house will make me more active & I must start knitting more so that my hands are busy!

Spiriva works on me, I have been on it for at least 3 years.

I have been on Qvar, Serevent & Seretide in the past, but am on Symbicort & Spiriva now.

Have you tried any other inhalers?

Oh Flossie you lucky girl ; a new relationship - I'm so pleased for you (but green with envy too). How lovely to have something other than this disease to think about !

I know what you mean about changing shape too, I think. I'm certainly an 'apple' these days. Even my recent bit off weightloss has made not a centimetre difference to my 'waist' or bust. I can only think it must have come off my wrists, neck or ankles! Great to hear from you again, luv Vanessa xx

    Hi Jacee,

You are not alone - 22 is my number too - eek! Wouldn't mind so much if I had got to indulge myself along the way, but like you I didn't eat wrong or anything. Anyhow, my short term goal with all this exercise etc is to be a 20 by Autumn, and then hopefully an 18 by Xmas. Just hope that the weight loss starts to register with my waistline at some stage! Van xx

After bragging (!!) that I do not DO headaches I find I have tempted fate too far. I cannot remember EVER having a headache before but have awoken the last two days with a humdinger, head in a vice, aching eyes, etc. Is it fate? Or did we find some other cause?
