It can be in some cases, depending on the heart issue. I don't know if a doctor (a cardiologist, that is) can diagnose a heart problem just by checking your wrist pulse, but he can perform other simple, ordinary procedures like an ECG, taking your blood pressure etc. If he has any suspicions, he might also ask you to wear a heart monitor for a brief period of time (24 hours most likely) to catch any abnormal heart activity, if that's the case.

How are you? Have you been feeling anxious or really stressed lately? These symptoms can 100% be caused by stress, but for your peace of mind, you should go get check out by a cardiologist. Take care!

hi Andrea I gave birth 3 weeks ago. during my pregnancy I had a 24 hour heart monitor at 24 weeks pregnant. i also have a few ecgs. they were normal. so I'm not sure if it would make a difference. my doctor said highly unlikely anything would have changed. Also my did have a doctor listen to my heart the other day and he said it was good. im just so scared. I do want it to be just anxiety but the anxiety is telling me different that I'm going to die or my heart is just going to give up. I feel dizzy weak and I get tingling in my hands. and my legs are a bit achy.
