Oxygen or not

So when I’m sitting down doing nothing my 02 sits around 93 but if I get up and wash a dish or do anything it drops down into the 80’s. QUESTION, do I simply keep oxigen going or ????

I don't understand: are you on oxygen when you're sitting but yoy turn it off when you get up & exert yourself?

No, I am not sure what to do. I’m concerned that if I go on it constantly I’ll have to keep it going.

Marty, how were you told to use it? That's what you should be going by. If that high reading is obtained only because you're both resting & doing oxygen, of course it's going to drop as soon as you turn off the air, get up & start doing things.

Where I live, few to zero people get O2 solely becausr of their lungs. Instead they get it if they have a high stroke risk & bad lungs. If you have heart issues, the oxygen cannot help you if you have a heart event without that oxygen on. And it's not helping your oxygenation when you don't have it going.

Don't get me wrong: my ex has been on it for many years, 24/7. I pray to God that I never need it or that, if I do, I refuse it. But here's the thing: no one wants a stroke.

Please talk to your doc/nurse/ pulmonary rehab about this.
