PAE for UTI's?

I'm 66 years old and had a TURP about ten years ago. There's been some prostate regrowth since then (76 ml on a recent ultrasound), but with Flomax and Finasteride, my urinary symptoms are generally very manageable. However I've developed a series of four urinary tract infections since March. (The first one started a few days after a cystoscopy). Each time it's treated with antibiotics and the symptoms clear up, but then they return a few weeks later. My urologist feels that the regrowth of the prostate is preventing my body from fully healing from the infections, and he wants me to consider another prostate intervention. He has not mentioned PAE, but it was suggested to me by my brother-in-law, who is a radiologist. And I've read good things about it on this forum and elsewhere.

Has anyone had a successful PAE in the NYC area and can recommend a doctor? Also interested in hearing pros and cons of the PAE procedure from anyone who has had it. Also whether anyone has concerns about the radiation exposure involved in PAE?

Also would appreciate feedback from anyone who's had recurrent UTI's, and how did you address this? Would prefer to avoid another prostate intervention altogether, if possible!

Not sure if he does PAE, but as far as a urologist in the NYC area.

I strongly recommend Dr. Noel Armenakas, over on the East Side. He is part of Northwell Health.

He is extremely knowledgeable and super helpful.

If he cannot help you or does not perform the procedure that is best for your condition, he knows people that can/will. (He's well networked)
