pae surgery for men in 20s and 30s and does it cause ed

I am 24 going 25 I had prostate issues due to prostatitis and once it swells in normally keeps it size but it does skrink a little. I want to get a pae done. I am scared though as I heard it causes erectile dysfunction. I just want a normal prostate size and a good sex life and be able to keep a boner going after I bust a load...I currently have other issues like hydroceles on both testicles that caused me epididymitis and caused my balls to atrophy but the infection is cleared so no more epididymtits ....andnow i am losing my sex drive and yea I barely bust a load and I think it has to do with my hydroceles and slightly my prostate, but I know when i get the hydocele surgery soon It can vary...with all that to the side... has anyone in there 20s or 30s gotten a pae surgery done and how are your boners honestly no one will ask, but let's be honest this will help us men make clear decisions Weither to get it or not...like can you keep a erecting at all or even after a load... oh and once I get my hydrocele repair and fully recovered I am going to hop on hcg shots or pills prescribed to naturally let my body produce more testorone... to get my sex drive back to normal.. it does not shrink your balls like steroids does cause your body need hcg to produce more testosterone... I asked my doctor...if anyone has gotten a pae kinda young let's us know about sex drive, erections, and if there any issues.. I know a few tricks that i will be doing to fix my own sex drive issues....I been reading a lot on how to produce testosterone naturally the reason behind prostate growth is mostly hormonal.... it due to estrogen and dextrotestosterone this mimic testosterone and cause bph.... I read hcg intensifies bph so call me crazy but I want my sex life back like any man in this world.... please feel free to message here I just want knowledge of what I might get my self into

    Jeff,

My problems began at 25. I am 57 now and had a PAE last november.  No issues with erections.

Nope.  No impact on sexual function.  PAE doesn't have a reputation for those kinds of problems.  There are several guys on this site who have had it and as far as I know none of them have retrograde.

Thank so much .... my other question is after your prostate shrinks do they take the beads out? Like a second procedure? Or are they permanent?

My undertanding is the dissolve over time.  You can have it done a second time if necessary.  That's my situation.  I am scheduled this October for a 2nd procedure.  I got a big improvement from the first, but not enough so I'm going for round two.

Oh OK Bruce yea I just been having prostate issues since i was 23...I think what caused my issues was prostatitis I know for a fact and using herbal t boosters... to many different women and it hard to find the right one in vegas to settle down... and from my understanding once the prostate Swells it hard for it to shrink back.... I have on and off stops while I urinate, urgency to pee, feel a slight discomfort now ,and my prostate was at 53cc from a trans rectal altrasound back in late 2013 when I found out I had prostatitis Psa was low though like 1.9...Im shooting blanks now maybe due to when I got epdidymitis bUT won the fight with antibiotics now or barely any producing any sperm...don't know if it cOuld be my hydroceles on both tesicles or my prostate but I will update here to let other suffers know... hey Bruce how long did it take to see results Or do you just feel bether general...

About three weeks.  Troubleshooting prostate issues can be hard, but keep at it.  Best to find a good urologist who will take the time to answer all your questions and troubleshoot your symtoms.  You will need to keep doing your own research and joining this forum was a good step.  If you have had antibiotics, you may want to look at taking a probiotic suppliment.  There is a great deal of research pointing to the importance of the gut microbiome and its effect on many conditions.  Antibiotics are great for knocking out infections, but they also carpet bomb the good bugs in your gut (intestines) that you need for good health overall. Also, I have found that certain foods cause me to have to pee much more often.  Sadly, beer has that effect on me.  Try to look at what you have been eating when you have symtoms worsen.  Experiment with not eating them and see if there is a direct association.  Your lucky in that you're young and still have a strong bladder.  Have you had a cystoscopy to see if the urethra is actuall blocked?

No I haven't I have a appointment on Monday is when I see my urologist, but he did mention a cystoscope a long time ago... one time I got so desperate that I drove to Mexico to get a urologist to look at me immediately, and he preforms a cystscope and just notice my prostate was inflamed that all he mention back in 2013 but I cured my prostatitis with multiple antibiotics but I still think is the root cause ....going to let my urologist know how I feel and make a list of things that went wrong and are going wrong and that pae is my next option....I ran into David gracia a stem cell doc here in vegas and I fixed one of his ac units for a property he owns for free... so I now have a free stem cell therapy ride for free as well adipose stem cells... if your bladder walls are weak look up dr lander for bladder cystitis or bladder issues...he a specialist on bladders and is a pioneer for stem cells therapy and research on the bladder...

...as far as I know, there is no ED associated w/ PAE - at all.

After reading of this procedure on this site, I began research as it seems an ideal step if I have to go beyond CIC (recently increased) and meds (recently switched Flmax for long-use drug Uroxatral).  However, I have not read of this procedure on websites of major hospitals in the Tampa Bay area, so I wonder if some of you who have had the procedure would post the name of the hospital/physician where it was done?  Thanks.

Urologists tend to either ignore or just don't know about it.  PAE is done by Interventional Radiologists.  I had mine done in Oakland,CA by Dr. Douglas Hadley, MD at Kaiser.  There are many others in the U.S.
