Hi guys.

I live nightmare now.

I had hemorrhoidectomy on 10 this months,so after about 5 days I had my first bowel movement without my blood going on...all of those days were not much blood going on but then few days ago I started to passing blood clots...and bleeding like a lot after the day of the bowel movement.

I went to ER and spend there whole night and rest of the afternoon being hooked up to fluid and taking blood every 3-4 hours to see if Im loosing lot of blood which turn out i have lost some but not significant to be concerned, doctors explain that this is likely happen because its old blood been passing down.I got discharged but still passing piles of those blood clots.

Please guys if anyone had similar experience let me know.Im really concern because if does freak me out everytime I go to bathroom looks like Im losing a lot of blood and my doc not concerned.

Yes it did finally stopped. It was nightmare I passed so much old blood ,since I had internal hem.First few days after my first bowel movement it was a lot, included time i was in ER,after 3rd day from when i was in ER I start to have bowel movements again but with mixed blood clots,on day 5 finally I had normal bowel movement and now it doesn't really hurt any more.So its been 3rd week after surgery and things going well at this point.

I tried attach some pics but it doesn't let me, its like a dark jelly, its old blood that collecting,if you fell like you loosing a lot or passing a lot and you fell weak, dizzy better to go to hospital,if its just a bits I dont think you should be worry.

That was the same for me. I made a post about this, but I also went to the ER a day or two after I posted because of the size of the clots and the volume of blood. That was two days ago and and the bleeding seems to have stopped...the pain has also suddenly become much more under control. I am on day 12 now and feel pretty good. BMs are still a little achy, but overall symptoms are manageable without any pain meds.
