Pain, 12 weeks post shoulder replacement

it's now 12 weeks after my shoulder replacement surgery. Everything was going fine, healing seemed quicker n my right shoulder than on my left which was done 13 months ago. fo some reason Iam getting sharpe pains on movement in and around the bicep area and red tracks radiating outward from the wound/scar site. I have just completed a course of antibiotics for an infection on my hand (same side) so I'm a little baffled as to why this is happening. can anyone through any light on this please?

Definitely, contact your surgeon to report these issues and seek advice.  Shoulders are difficult, period.  Hang in there and keep your chin up.  Make sure you are icing.  What does your physical therapist offer?  Good luck and post updates!

Get to your doctor to have the scar and red tracks seen as soon as possible. Sounds too much like possible infection

After dealing with pain for 5 months, and in Aug. of 2017, I had the surgery. First I went through therapy, but my range of motion wasn't getting better, so therapist sent me back to the Orthopedic Dr. to see just what was going on. He examined my arm, and decided to schedule me for surgery. I ended up with my right rotator cuff and biceps that needed to ne repaired! It was an intense surgery I was told. After a week or so I started therapy, and it eas going well until the end of October. I started having neck pain on the same side. As time went on, the neck pain got worse and constant, so I contacted my Dr. I've had a xray, pain medication and therapy, and even icing, but Nothing! Since Jan. 5th I've been waiting for MRI's to get approved! My shoulder and biceps started hurting all over again on the 6th, and all this has caused me nothing but Stress! I have to pray that everything will be taken care of by the end of this month! I pray you get some relief yourself real soon, and they find out just what's going on with you!! Please keep me informed. God bless you!
