Hi for a while now I've been having sharp.stabing pains in left side of head the pain only last for the most about 30 seconds and goes but it's been on and off but also I've been getting a lot.of he aches and had to take regular painkillers . I'm not sure if anyone else gets theses pains in the head I know migraines and heads are conected to fibro but this is somthing new and happening more regular it's one of them.pains were you what the he'll. Was that if anyone gets what I mean . Take care x

    Hi tiggers since having fibro I have constant headaches, migrains and sharp stabbing pains in my head. for 3 weeks I had a tight band round my head not plesent to have. My headaches stabbing pains are consistant. if your concerned at all see your gp. I take ibuprophen off the dr for my headaches. take care hope you have a good weekend.xx

      Hi kaz thank you I take nurofen extra they do work but I can keep taking tem.every day . I think if it carries on I will see GP . Enjoy your weekend too warm hugs x

    Hi tiggers; I think it is very important that you talk to your GP, as there is another condition that can sometimes occur along with Polymyalgia (many muscle pains), and known as Giant Cell Arterites...........this is an inflammation of the arteries near the eye/s (is this where you are getting the sharp pains?).......it is wise to see GP and be reassured that this is not happening to you............good luck.............Bron

      Hi I get the pain in the side of the temple and sometimes the back if my head but more often in the last 3 wks it's been in the left temple . If it does Carry on I shall see my GP thank you for your advice x
