Still getting pain and twinges inside my tummy I'm 19 days post op is this normal I've had everything taken away and fibroids to

    Yes it perfectly normal as I had twinges and its still early days yet I had mine in 2015 and still get the odd twinge now sometimes but you need to still not over do things it takes at least eight weeks to be able to go back to work and then it can take longer to really fully recover

    It's early, early days for you.  External stitches take 5-6 weeks to heal if you had a lap procedure.  Internally, it's much longer, you've had major surgery.  I was told not to lift anything heavier than a half gallon milk carton for 6 weeks.  Then, after that, to lift only that milk carton.  Your insides need time to heal and knit together.

    Some women need up to six months to heal properly.  Please don't overdo it...you can pull stitches.  When you feel pain and you're tired, it means your body needs the time to heal, so please listen to it. xx

    Hi debora ... you still relatively early days its a.big operation ... takes time to heal inside and out ive been on both sides of the fence as I work in theatres too as well as having the op myself x
