Is it wrong to put knee support’s back on after a TKR

I’m in so much pain this evening I don’t know what to do with myself 😓

I don't think the knee support does anything since the knee has been replaced.  Anything the support was "supporting" has now been fixed.  Check with your doc but I don't see the use for a pre-op brace.

HOWEVER...  At 2 1/2 years, I really...REALLY...want to skate again but I have to make sure that the knee doesn't twist or torque.  In that case, Donjoy has their Defiance brace that's designed to prevent that exact knee movement.  Nothing competitive...just light recreation.  Still, I want to protect the knee.  This use of a brace is completely different from a pre-op one which helps stabilize the knee and control pain before surgery.

And it feels good to have it on.  especially if im out and about.  I ordered this one on Amazon... same brace had different prices. Paid $7...

I don't think the knee supports does anything since the knee has been supplanted. Anything the help was supporting has now been settled. Check your doctor yet I don't see the utilization for a preoperation brace.
