I'm ten weeks post op and full wb with two crutches suffering alot of pain after walking is this normal . My doctor wants me to have ultrasound to test for a blood clot but I had blood thinning injections for six weeks after surgery. Still waiting for my pt appointment in a couple of weeks . Anybody else suffered like me .

Hi, I am 20 weeks post op, still have pain, they put me on a bone growth stimulator, apparently its helping, but still cant FWB without stabbing pains on the inner ankle, I am thinking it must be the hardware. I guess everyone heals at a different pace.

YOU ARE SOOOOO NOT ALONE!!! I remember having a lot of pain walking for 5 months after. ( but i am guessing I had more hardware). Just remember you are not by yourself and you have other gimpy friends on here to vent to.
