Good morning,

I had a hernia surgery on the 18th of august ,which was last month, the pain had reduced and i was feeling better, but 3days ago i went with my family to move stuffs from one part a building to another, i carried 1 or 2 heavy bags but not more than that, i did a lot of bending and standing though. The next day i started feeling tiny pains under the scar from the surgery on movement and its gradually increasing , and when i bend and stand up i get very uncomfortable around my waist and there was a swelling directly under the scar previously that is had it seems to have increased a little, though not so obvious. Please what do you think happened and what should i do?

I was told by my surgeon --- only 10 pds for "12 weeks".   They said I could effect the stitches in the stomach area.  It sounds like you broke that rule.  I would check with surgeon to make sure you didn't do that.
