Pain after orchidectomy

Hi all,

6 years ago now i had to have an orchidectomy as a result of a testicular torsion.

I'm 19 now but occasionally (most recent a few days ago) i get a sharp pain from where my testicle was and can sometimes last a while with a dull aching pain and a stomach pain resembling a trauma to the area.

I was just wondering why this was as it was 6 years ago and has/does anyone else experience the same?

    Hey Omarz14 that's reassuring in some sense that other people still experience pain after a trauma

    The problem Dale is that the pain is so infrequent...sometimes he tells me he is crying of pain and then the next day there is nothing. Also it wasn't a big incident by the way, he got hit while playing football.

    Anyway thanks for your reply.

    Saying that, it may be worth he being checked for a testicular torsion as that's what i had.

    Some days i could not move physically, and i too would cry in pain

    Where as the next day I'd be fine, running, jumping.

    I would definitely get that checked out, because even if it's not that, it's sure better to be safe than sorry
