Pain after urinating Male

For the past while after I urinate I feel a dull pain in the pelvic region. I don't have any other pain during or before urination except after. The pain seems to get worse when I lay down afterwards and the pain goes away in about 30 mins or so after I pee. Any reason why this could be happening?

Prostatitis my friend. I've been dealing with it for over 3 years. It just gets worse and more frustrating over time. Go to a doctor and try to get a handle on it. I'm sorry to say but you're gonna have to learn to live with an incurable physical problem from now on. I wish you the best. I have tried so much and now am looking at surgery.

Ask your doctor about interstitial cystitis. It's less common in men than in women but some cases are misdiagnosed as prostatitis. It may also be an infection. I hope you find answers and feel better soon!
