pain and dryness associated with sex as a LS sufferer

Does anyone have any advice to help with the pain and dryness associated with sex as a LS sufferer? I am also menopausal. I have managed LS for 17 years but menopause seems to have kicked the pain during intercourse up a notch. A little bit depressing.

I'm going to try and get past the GP to see a vulva specialist (somehow, somewhere) as feel want to be monitored at this point.
I'm going to get me some of that estrogen cream to try too, if can convince the doc to write me a prescription. Can the hormone creams be used inside the vaginal canal as seem swollen and sore there after you know what?

I've not used them myself but I believe you can have pessary sort and also cream and applicator which you insert and squeeze out content into the vagina.

Have just registered and have read all comments. Just going out.
For momentI will say thatI have had LS for maybe12 yrs. Not too troublesome. Some irregular but now more common pain and discomfort. Dermovate answers problems.
Also use eostrogen cream because of shrinkage in genital area perhaps hormonal but a regular user of Dermovate (thins??) Labia.
Been diagnosed with Genital Herpes now.
I work and understand the mind body connection (Meta Health) and am only confused now with what cream to use, guess which cream, try to avoid using cream!
Know I should sort my emotionsl stuff from the past, not panicking but becoming more unsettled by the genital mess.
Emotional stress, when mended-the body heals. And that's the problem with much of these issues.
Great comments here. Will check in over next few days.
As a holistic healer I seem to be able not to panic althoughI get p....d off.
I have comea long way in my emotional journey and am learning how to heal from within.
However I do use the dreams just getting to point -which one!
