Pain and seedling after a year of Navicular bone graft surgery

Hello all,

It has been over thirteen months since my surgery and still have a lot of pain and swelling after standing/walking (without crutches).

I still need wheelchair for ling distance travel i.e airports.

In addition to the fusion, I also had three screws put in my heel to adjust it.

Has anyone gone through something similar? what have you experienced? is it still normal to have this much pain and swelling?

my surgeon is recommending a cortisone shot but I am not sure if I want to do that due to the side effects.

Thanks for your help!
