Chest pains could also be a result of back pain, trapped nerve or something like that, sounds silly but it happens.
My biggest tip though, DO NOT BELIEVE THE DOCTORS. They are after all only human and they make mistakes. I had every sympton of a heart attack, pain, dizzeness, shortness of breath etc etc 3 hours later I was dead.
ECG, blood test showed no indication of abnormality. If you spend a bit more time looking at your blood results, I guarentee you'll see a slight indication of a heart attack.
With greatest respect to our healers, do not take thier word as final.

Among them are:
Chronic Esophagitis (irritation of the inflamed esophageal walls caused by gastric juices).
Cholelithiasis (gallstones)
Degenerative Processes of the Spine (intercostal neuralgia)
Viral Infection of the Nerve Endings
Cardioneurosis
So, taking into account information above you should definitely visit a general practitioner to have the necessary examination in order to find out the real reason of this pain.
You may be directed to take Blood tests to check for levels of certain enzymes normally found in heart muscle, Computerized tomography (CT scan) (to check your heart and lung arteries for blockages and other problems.)
Stress tests (which will show whether your pain is related to your heart). There are many kinds of stress tests. The most common is based on exercises (you are asked to pedal a stationary bike or to walk on a treadmill at increasing levels of difficulty while checking your ECG).
