Pain around little finger knuckle

Posted , 1 user is following.

About four weeks ago, I drove my right little finger hard straight into a wall (I was trying to catch something which was falling over). I could not grip anything for a couple of days.

I can now grip fine - including playing tennis, however there is a problem at the base of that finger in my hand. Two things are painful: writing (I.e. resting that part of the hand on the paper) and shaking hands. If I get a firm handshake it is REALLY painful.

Any idea what I have done?

your nervous pain should tell you that something isn't right.  Good luck with the GP Hope the finger  mends
