Pain around Vaginal Opening during Penetration + What is Going on Down There?????

Posted , 2 users are following.

I've noticed since a few months before that penetration hurts regardless of my own preparedness. However, it is only ever near the opening of my vagina. It feels like friction burn, and is consistent regardless of the amount of lube that I use. I also tried to take a photo of the area, and that just resulted in me panicking. What the hell is going on down there? Does anyone have any clue? I just thought it was vestibular papillomatosis, but it's gone from just being near the urethra to be back end somehow, and I think it's growing.

Help.

    Dear jay,

The photo only shows normal vaginal anatomy. The graininess of the vulval skin are just sebaceous glands.

You may have vestibulodynia (aka vulvodynia), but to make this diagnosis you first need to get properly checked and tested for infections, etc by a gynaecologist or sexual health doctor.
