Pain at 20 weeks post op ankle fusion

Hi, I'm in aircast boot at 20 weeks post op ankle fusion and I am experiencing terrible pain in side of foot. Keeps me awake at night, burning stabbing pain that is continous, I am using ice packs during the day that ease it for a while but once it's back it's awful.

Has anybody else experienced this, all was going well untill now.

    It is a long long process and it can be hard to keep positive. Pain wears you down as does immobility. This forumn is so supportive and it has helped me keep positive by sharing my experience with others. Let us all know next week xxxx

      I was so glad to find this forum, all the different stages people have gone through.

      I am finding it quite hard at the moment and it's good to talk to somebody in the same situation.

      I will let you know how it goes next week.
