PAIN AT SIX MONTHS?! What have I done? HELP!!

My October LTHR went well as did my recovery.  I've been back at the gym for the past 3 months and doing some pilates at home - all with no problems.

Two weeks ago I did a hike with lots of hills and about a week later, my knees started to hurt when going up and down stairs and i've begun limping very badly, to the point where I need to use either a cane or a walker again.

Five days ago, I began feeling extremely dizzy when i got out of bed; the dizziness lasts for hours, eventually passing until the next morning.

I'm travelling at the moment but did pop into an emergency two days ago to be reassured by a doctor that I had not, in fact, dislocated my hip.

My thinking is that I put my body out of alignment with that hour and a half hilly hike and simply need a good straightening-out by a chiro.

Your valuable input, dear hippies - PLEASE and THANK YOU!!!

Hi Jen - the dizziness and the pain could be connected or could be totally separate . It does sound a bit like you got some sort of minor injury during your hike which then got made worse by stairs etc at home - I would think it should all settle in time - don't know if you are travelling if you are cable to take it easy for a while at all ? The dizziness needs investigating - have you had your blood pressure checked ? I can understand how disappointing it is to have pain at this stage but am sure it will improve xxx

Thanks for this!  bp is fine now but when i went to emerg, it was very high; doc said pain can do that.  i'll see my doc when i get home tomorrow.  i'm confident it is, as you say, a minor injury.  and i'll just have to suck up the disappointment  neutral
