i had a minor fall on my knee 4 days ago and kneecap felt a bit bruised but nothing bad. Today, behind my knee is killing when i walk or straighten any thoughts on what it can be and how i can help it?

First step is always an anti-inflammatory (NSAID) and no pressure on the knee. If it's still a problem a week later, you go see an orthopedist specializing in knees. That's the drill. If it's a sprain or a bruise, it will probably be gone or way better in 7 days. If it's something else, only the doc can diagnose it. Speculation is futile.
