Hello ship mates! I went to the pain clinic again yesterday, had to see a psychologist, hope I selt that right, she was really nice and all she said was how was I coping, well, I just burst into tears  I told her everything and all about my doctor, she said I was really very depressed and said she was going to write to my GP, she wants to see me again in the next 2 weeks as she wants to try a few things with me, like coping with the pain and the M E, I also told her about my mums dealth, she said that I could talk to her about it, try and make sense of some of my feelings. I felt like I had been really listened to, not felt that for a while, I do have some terrible feelings going on in my head, has anyone else

When did your mum die Cats Eyes? It is a lerrible wrench to lose your mum, your whole world changes shape. Your mum is your one ally that can be relied upon to support you and when that is gone there is this big empty hole and you are peering over the edge about to fall in.

Have you thought of some bereavement counselling? Your grief is not part of the M.E. it is a separate issue all its own.

Cats Eyes .... although it stirred a lot of emotion, your visit sounded a really positive one. The psychologist (yes, you did spell it right :D ) sounds as if she is really on your side and will be of tremendous help to you.

So that's definitely a step in the right direction smile

    Katie
