    dear mandy,

looks like you have progressed very well, darling - pain is less and you have cut down on your medication (not sure if that is a good thing though)-

you are using one crutch inside and two outside, which is good thinking - I understand the impatience you feel , but unfortunately, this cannot be rushed -

you really just had major surgery where muscles, tendons etc. were severed - your leg manipukated to have the hip joint forcefully removed ...add the reaming and fitting of the hardware to it and no wonder your body needs time to repair these damages -

healing is taking place while at the same time you are trying to walk and go about your business, so to speak -

everything is still so fragile - ask your doctor for a muscle relaxant if spasms and cramps are bad and tonic doesn't help .... no need to suffer - also, sometimes it is better to stay ahead of the pain rather than wait until pain gets unbearable - perhaps taking your pain medication during the day can help -

with all this going on , you will feel tired, achy, sore and down -

you need to take care of Mandy first before you can take care of others, so be gentle and kind to her, okay ...

Practice patience (I know, right ... who has time to be patient????)

big warm hug and again, come here anytime you feel like

    renee

    Dear Amanda

Quinine for leg cramps..works for me 100%

I've been finding that sometimes my operated leg gets achy an find that elevating it and resting seems to help.

    Cheers Richard
