Pain getting worse

Good evening to everyone, I'm afraid to say my neuropathic pain is getting worse now, I can't take much more of this pain, I've tried my best, went to see a neurosurgen this week and he says that he will consider me for a spinal cord stimulator or a drug pump for my pain, why is it that no other so called consultant has never thought about this before now

Sometimes doctors try the cheaper, less invasive options first.

OH so happy for you. I know about chronic pain. It ruins your life. I'm still dealing with aching from my hip replacement. You are on your way to relief! GOOD!!

I just hope whatever happens the operation will work and take away this pain, made me so worried and depressed about my future, if I was a dog they would have put me down by now, I'm so scared about the operation

Unrelenting pain is something that those that haven't experienced it cannot understand.
I'm really pleased it looks like you've found a possible solution.
Good luck.
Please let us know how you get on.
