Pain in 3rd toe

Hello,

i get this horrible ‘pulling’ sensation under my third toe when I walk.  It feels like there is a tight thread in the toe stretching as I take a step and is very painful.  I haven’t got a neuroma or plantar fasciitis as have had a scan and x-rays.  The pain often subsided as my foot gets warm.  Has anyone else experienced this?  GP said I had a mild bursar and the podiatrist came up with a completely wrong diagnoses.

Bursitis or tendonitis of the toe can cause inflammmation and cause the tendon to have issues with the pulley system.

Perhaps once your tendon is warmed and relaxed it slides more easily bc it becomes more flexible.

Follow treatment for bursitis and tendonitis

Hello and thank you for this helpful information.  I do lots of walking so will certainly look up the treatments you suggest.  I will let you know how it goes. 😊
