Pain in ankle/surgical site

Good day everyone!

Almost a year ago I had an ORIF on my medial malleolus, I had a screw put in my ankle that will stay there permanently.

As I am waiting to see another specialist to get a second opinion on my ankle, I am noticing that I am getting more and more pain in my surgical site, it seems to be a shooting pain where my screw is and seems like I am getting more heel pain at times as well.

I was jusy wondering if anyone else has had the same sort of surgery and noticed this as well?

    I had the same surgery as you I had my screws taken out u year ago I had my surgery 2 years ago but this pain .
