Pain in/around eye?

So, I have posted a few times here before, as I have been seeing flashes and floaters in my vision for the last few months. Eye doctor was unable to determine the cause, and I am unsure if it related to what is happening now. My right eye hurts a lot, it feels like someone is squeezing the eyeball. While I initially thought it was just a sinus headache, and I guess it still could be, I have never had one like this, an ache specifically in and around the eye. My vision is completely fine aside from the floaters and such, and there is no redness or anything wrong on the outside of the eye so far.

Anyone have any idea what this could be?Between this and recent Ulcerative Colitis diagnosis, the last few weeks have not been a fun time. Could really use some help or advice here. Have made an appointment with eye doc, but it's three weeks out. 😦

My husband just had a checkup because he had a couple of headaches he thought were sinus trouble. He also has been having floaters and flashes. My sister said it may be retinal detachment but that was fine. What they found is that there was an indication that he may have a tendency to develop glaucoma. He went to the Willmer Eye Institute and they dilated his eyes and took some pictures and want to follow up progression of this problem and determine if he needs drops to keep the disease from progressing and causing blindness. Not sure that is the problem but make sure you have your eyes checked, get second opinions, you are your best advocate.

Hi, and thx for the reply! 😃

i probably should've updated this thread earlier, but I found out what was going on. I have Euritis (eye inflammation) which is the source of my symptoms. Likely caused by an auto-immune disease.
