Pain in back when pressure applied

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can shed some light .

Ive had a slight pain in my mid to lower back for 4 years. i first noticed it after gibing birth to mu daughter. i just assumed it was the epidural site causing the lain especially because it is so localised. i can literally pin point it with my fingers. I only feel it when I apply pressure to it, so for instance as I lay down, or lean my back against a chair. It will send a sharp pain but only for a couple of seconds. I don’t feel it when I’m walking or standing, occasionally when I bend over. It’s never really bothered me that much hence why I’ve left a while to get checked. But just wondering if anyone else has experience this and what it could be? Almost feels like something to do with the disk more than the actual bone. i saw a gp who didnt really seem fussed .

thank you
