Pain in Both Heels after Jumping from around 6 foot high

I was on my parents garden shed helping my dad repair the roof. I jumped down to get to the other side and when i landed i got pain in both my heels and could not walk. After nearly 3 days the pain has gradually gone but i still cannot stand or walk without it hurting. I can move both feet fine and feels fine when i am laying around. Would anyone know how long it takes to heal as i looked around online and said it can take about a week as i probably damaged my muscle in the heel.

You could have torn a ligaments or fractured a bone you should go see your Dr.as walking could do more harm and it would take longer to heal .hope it is nothing serious but better have them checked

Thanks for the reply. The pain has got a lot better over the last couple days and I have had a lot of rest and using a cold and heat pack as recommended. The pain is not as bad so hopefully it should be a lot better in a few more days but if it don't go in will definitely see a Dr. Thank you for your help!

Please go to your GP if you have one; if not go to the ER even if you don't have insurance, it doesn't matter.  I think you need an x-ray to determine what's going on.  Please, you cannot diagnose yourself as it can be dangerous.  Best of luck!
