Pain in my hips when I walk

Posted , 4 users are following.

I will start off with the fact that I'm 16 years old. For a month now, maybe more, I've had this pain in my outer hip whenever I walk a semi - long distance. From then on the more/faster I walk, the more painful it gets. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I do remember when it started. I was going home one night and decided to give myself a push and walk faster as I was already past my evening hour. While I was walking fast I felt a pain in my hip but ignored it and continued walking with the same pace. I thought it would go away after a few days, but it never did.

What could be wrong with me?

Well if you are worried maybe talk to ur doc? I mean i know its a hassle i have a problem rn that idk what it is and i should just visit the doc but i feel like waiting. Though the case is really weird. I have had something similar my whole life. Whenever i run or walk for long distances i feel stabbing pain above my hip, i was told its normal so i just live with it but if i want to run while feeling it its very hard. It might be due to poor cardio and stamina. I dont know about your case but honestly it might be something that comes with puberty. Im also 16 and some weird pains constantly happen in my life that i just brush off as puberty things. Like for example my knees were hurting for some reason when i was 15 for like 3 months and i didnt do anything about it. I just waited and it went away lol.
