Why don't you think it is a trapped nerve, it does sound like one? What pain killers are you taking?

Cuz I have no back pain, and 5weeks seems to be long time ? Tablets are tramadol 50mg and amitriptyline 10mg the pain is 24/7

I get sciatic pain like you mention due to a back problem which affects the sciatic nerve, but the pain is only in my leg, it can be excruciatingly painful. Physio can help. Also I try to keep moving and exercise.

hi am now taking Lyrica 75mg and Tramadol 50mg, 12 weeks now still in lot pain, could this have anythink to do with my drinking problem ? and there any think elase i can do ?

Are you having pain in your arms too? Is it worse after you have a drink? Lyrica is supposed to help neuropathic pain. Does your doctor still think it is a trapped nerve? Have you had any scans?

no scans yet, pain there 24/7 if i drink or not, tabs doing nothing, after 12weeks still the same, also am on metformin 500mg.

I assume you are taking Metformin for diabetes? When you get a scan at least the doctors can check out the results. It seems at the moment you are just having pain killers. What is your diet like? Do you try and eat healthily? Do you take any form of exercise? I find swimming helps.

yes eat well, cooked foods and lots fruit, stopping drinking now, or well trying 😊

Not too much fruit because of the sugar content, more veg of all sorts, protein and complex carbs. I am so glad you have been able to stop drinking.
