I had my GB removed just over 24 hours ago and honestly it was a worse experience than expected. Ironically the worst discomfort/pain is in my shoulder. It's especially bad if I'm lying down. Anyone else experience this?

Hi. I hope your feeling a bit better now. I had my gallbladder removed on 6th August 2021. I had the pain in the shoulder which I was told I would have as it's the air pumped into your body for the op. mine went after after 5 days but you need to move around as much as possible. I am now 19 days post op and have very little discomfort. I also had a umbilical hernia repair at the same time that is more uncomfortable than the gall bladder removel. it is important to move around but not over do working . wish you well.
