I do wonder how much those sort of pains are to do with the change in the way you walk after the surgery. I have a form of rheumatism/arthritis and before it was recognised and treated the stiffness and joint pain made my walking most peculiar! That improved initially and then I tore the ligaments in my good knee (not the one i had surgery on years ago, not a TKR). Later I developed an achilles tendon problem and was on crutches - and a couple of months later my back just seized up completely and I couldn't move at all. It took a year to sort as the quick method resulted in me having a severe drug reaction - but since the back is back to near enough right everything else hurts less and I can walk better.

But I will echo the being fed up with a new pain on a weekly basis!!!!

Hi Mary do you have shoes or trainers that are cushioned? I work in a sports shop and we sell trainers. A few people come in worth plantar fascitis and find relief with insoles or trainers with good cushioning. As it's an inflammation you get a king of burning soreness and you need to support the foot
