Pain in stitches 6 days after foot and ankle surgery?

I had surgery on my foot and ankle on Tuesday, and now it is 3am the following Monday and I can't sleep because I'm still in pain and my stitches seem to be bothering me. I can't take my medicine again for a few hours, and I think I'm going to call tomorrow and see if everything sounds normal. My follow up appointment is Wednesday. I'm just stressed. Is it normal for stitches to hurt like this 6 days after surgery?

    Hello, I just had tendon repair and heel bone break to reconstruct my high arch. I am having suture pain as well. Foot feels itchy and tight. I developed cellulitis and was put on antibiotics. I think I am having a rejection of the sutures. Dr said there is nothing I can do about it. They will stay in for at least 14 days.
