I HAVEN'T BEEN ON FOR A WHILE BUT STILL HAVING VENESECTIONS EVERY TWO WEEKS     I HAVE FELT POORLY NOW FOR SOME WEEKS DUE TO A HEAVY WEIGHT FEELING IN MY STOMACH ESPECIALLY AFTER I EAT SOMETHING AND WHEN I AM LYING DOWN IT IS WORSE. THE LAST CT SCAN DIDNT SHOW ANY PROBLEMS BUT FOLLOWING A VISIT TO MY GP HE IS SENDING ME FOR AN ENDOSCOPY TO SEE IF THEY CAN GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAIN.    i HAVE A SMALL LESION ON MY WINDPIPE AND HAVE BARRETTS ESOPHOGUS ALONG WITH HH, DIABETES AND HAVE HAD AN ABLATION ON MY LIVER TO REMOVE A TUMOUR, SO I AM JUST WONDERING IF THE IRON HAS SETTLED ITSELF IN ANOTHER ORGAN AND CAUSING ME THIS PAIN.     MY WIFE IS THREATENING TO TAKE ME TO A  & E IF IT IS NOT BETTER SOON.   THE SYMPTOMS I AM EXPERIENCING ARE LEAD WEIGHT FEELINGS IN AND AROUND MY STOMACH AFTER EATING, ALTHOUGH I HAVE NO APPETITE FOR FOOD AND WEIGHT LOSS IS ANOTHER PROBLEM.   CAN ANYONE THROW ANY  LIGHT ON THIS PROBLEM OR SHOULD I JUST TAKE MY WIFE'S ADVICE AND GO TO A & E       GLYN

    Hi Glyn

We have been wondering how you were going after your last report you were going to corner the consultant regarding your very high ferritin levels which were not reducing.

I don't know what and A&E is but yes, take your wife's advice and see one or some specialist about your issues.  They are not normal.

Hi Sheryl, nice to hear from you.    I have been doubled up in pain this morning and I think I shall have to give in to my wife and go and see about this, as an emergency.   It doesn't feel right at all and although it eases off a little during the day and if I lean forward, as soon as I liie down, there it is again, that heavy weight feeling in the stomach and going round to the back now too.     Not eating much at all Sheryl,  and my wife is at her wits end with mel    Just wondered if anyone has had these symptoms and had a diagnosis, best regards Glyn

I don't recall reading about anyone complaining of this on this forum.  You don't need any more problems, and you don't need to die from something stupid that could have been fixed.  So you do need to see someone quick, you might have to see a gp first to get a referral.  Ask your dr if you should go to emergency for immediate assessment.

Good Morning Sheryl, thankk you for your comments.    I am still having the pain and will have to either go to the emergency which might be quicker than making an appointment with my GP who has ordered an endoscopy and wont prescribe medication until he knows what he is dealing with and I can understand/   I visited my sister in Liverpool and the pain was bad and I went to  the walk in centre who referred me to my sister's GP and he prescribed a type of milk of magnesia bottle and Cocodamol and this gave me severe constipation and apparently cocodamol is known for this and perhaps this should have been a red flag to the GP in Liverpool  as I am a Gastro patient.   Anyway, I have stopped taking these because they are no use.   Came  back and my own GP told me not to take cocodamol and ordered the endoscopy.   I have hiccups almost every day too and just wondered why.    Picking at food and it just doesn't appeal to me, even it is something that I would normally enjoy.     I shall ask at the surgery for a GP appointment  ( probably in about a week)  but if it continues much longer then I think I shall have to go to emergency  because I can't go on like this.     Thank you for your concern and comments, Glyn

Good idea to go to emergency, and hopefully they will investigate your problem.  It might be an ulcer/s about to burst, and that is deadly.

Good night from me from the other side of the world razz  (I don't know what 'razz' means but it looks interesting.)

Oops!  This morning I looked up razz:  to tease, give a raspberry, and

To be friendly to a particular person in order to gain sexual preference with them. Often seen in the context "on the razz."

      Sorry, my ignorance.
