Im not sure where exactly what this would go Under but I guess that I will try here and hope for some answers.

I have had a lot of tests done . endoscopy etc. barium swallow test and Lots More.. I havent been able to get any answers back from the Doctors here in New Zealand . as they think there is nothing wrong with me or have found nothing to suggest that I may have acid reflux. Its painful . Last night I woke up at 10:30pm and stayed up til 2:30am in Pain becase I was vomitting . and My Partner seems to think it was a Bug. I have been sick since Friday last week and had diarhea. My stomach pains are quite bad'. I need some answers. I tried to eat bread last night and I vomitted I had a bit of milk to try to cool down the burning sensation in my throat , ,,, Was horrible, Iv never been through soo much discomfort in my life. I have suffered with this for 2 years at Least. and Have been through loads and numerous of tests.. Is there anybody out there who knows what Im going through or could suggest something a bit better that will ease what I am going through. I Know there is something wrong with my body my body tells me this. But it seems like I am coming to a brick wall for anwers when speaking to the doctors. It actually really frustrates me cause they arent listening to what I am Saying to them.

Tell me if someone else is going through the same thing please.

If you suspect GERD, which is very painful have you tried a simple ppi. Like prilocet or pepcid, or protonix?

Hi Aryt, try slippery elm food.

This leaves a coating on the esophagus!

I have this last thing at night and for breakfast.

    Google slippery elm for yourself!

    you mix with milk.

    Regards May

Hi aryt. I had this problem on and off about 15yrs. And just last 2 months back I had a very bad heartburn attack which I had admitted twice and 3 times of A&E within 2 weeks. Normally during my stomach pain and burning I don't take bread cos it'll cos my stomach bloated and milk too. I don't take coffee, tea or milk. I only drink hot chocolate but not too much. I had been taking Omeperazol 20 mg a day for normal days and during the bad times I'll need to take Nexium 40 mg twice a day and Gaviscon Advance antacid. During my latest attack I'm so suffering. I hardly can eat, cannot sleep, depress and anxiety. But now I'm getting better. What I do is I eat small amount and many times. Beginning I take some porridge, oat and soup. But make sure the oat need to soak for a while till it expand than only eat it.  Try to take warm or hot food and drink. Don't take cold stuff. I eat every 3 to 4hrs. Thanks god now I'm getting better and better. And now I'm quitting smoking too. Wish you speedy recover.

ITS very frustrating when the Doctors at the hospital say to you that theres nothing there. and Do nothing for me'... They dont have any suggestions because the surgeon stated and confirmed 2 years ago that I did not have acid reflux.. But my doctor who was my doctor for 15 years had suggested I had severe acid reflux. Its like I have to Prove it to them but I shouldnt have to . I suffer with vomiting Nausea and other conditions such as sore stomach pains like Full Bloating. I had one pizza tonight .. and that was it. I was full and I could feel the spice and hotness coming up into my esophageus. and it was actually just a chicken pizza so it seemed weird that I was buring up inside. My partner suggested a Cough Lollie'.. which is Stupid'... I rather not tlak to him about it cause he doesnt understand . he just wants me to understand his things'.. But I am the one suffering'. and I just want to get better'.. I phoned Healthline'.. and they sent something or some information through to my medical centre to Suggest there is something I am going through and the Symptoms are getting worse'. Iv never had a burning sensation in my throat and stomach and noW it coming on really Strong'..

Hi arty. I know how frustrated you are cos I had the same experience that you had. I had when to a few specialist Dr ,did 3 times of endoscopy, numerous of blood tests and cardiovascular too. And all the Dr said there is nothing they can do cos they already gave me the high dose medicine. But in that time I'm so suffering till I feel like going to die, I'm so angry and disappointed with them.  But than I go to the another specialist Dr who really help me a lot by listening to what I had gone through and patiently advice me how to calm down. From him I learn to change my lifestyle and from him I'm getting better and better. Thanks god. What I can say is for those who had reflux  or heartburn really need to be extra careful with our foods and lifestyle. So hope that you don't be too depress cos the last 2 months I also hardly can eat, sweating and can't had a good sleep. Oh yes during night time I need to sleep with 45 degree position too for almost 1 month plus. Please be more patient you will be recover soon.

Thanks I feel like Im allergic to almost every food that I eat. they all seem to acidy or too much dairy product is not good for me, or too much gluten is not good for me'.. Spicy foods are not good for me. I had a fizzy drink, lemonade, it was the worse afterwards.. and I felt sweaty and had chronic diarhea afterwards as embarrassing as it was. I have had 2 toast and a cup of tea for breakfast this morning that is it.. I really want weetbix or orange juice or something really Good to eat.. not something as little as two toast. but thats all my stomach can handle at the moment;.otherwise I end up getting nauseated or feel like Im going to Vomit... I am on 300mg antiacid ..seems a lot.. really comapred to 20mg I was taking. My Acid is very severe.. its Not just something small. I have to go back to the Doctors next week so they can reassess me. I just hate the travel there.. its far from where I stay..The night I had a burning throat. I was sweating and couldnt stop sweating  I actually took off my Shirt. cos I thought it was that.. I was looking for fresh air.. as Dramatic as it sounds. but to be honest the Pain is unbareable...

You mean to say you had 3 endoscopy? I just dont want the doctors or surgeons at the hospital to wait til the  last minute to do something before something happens. I dont ever want it to get to that stage where its too late ..
