Pain in the middle of the right side of my back

In the beginning of May 2017 when I was lying in my sofa I turned my back and I hurt it. And as a consequence I had a pain in the middle right side of my back. After some time the pain decreased and I had this pain only when I run and I cough. I went on holiday one month later in beginning of June 2017 and I had no pain carrying my luggage.
However three weeks ago I run a very small distance two days consecutively to lose weight because I had put on weight. And since the pain has come back and has become worse. I have now a pain even when I walk in the street, when I sit and when I move my back. Before the pain was occasionally now it is constant even if it is not very big.
When I am standing and I twist my back toward the right is ok but if I twist toward the left I have a pain
I am worried because the pain started more than four months ago and it becomes now worse and as a consequence I am worried that my vertebra or one of my kidneys are damaged or I have another serious desease
I do not know if I have to go to the doctor or wait that the pain go by itself. I do not know if I have to sit on hard or soft surface, if I have to take medicine or which exercise to do to get rid of this pain

See your GP straight away if only for peace of mind, hopefully youve just strained a muscle or ligament and it hasn't fully healed yet, go and get checked out soon otherwise youl send yourself crazy over thinking, please let us know how you go 😊

I also got middle back pain-no clue how. One minute I was fine and the next had my arms and legs in pain, possible tick born illness. Now my arms and legs are fine but bad pain in middle back. I had MRI, Ct scan , x-rays and all showed good. I am on Gabapentin which has given me my life back. I'm hoping to go to Mayo as I don't want to be on this all my life. This started July 3, 2017. Good luck to you
