Pain in urethra while dehydrated, discomfort while urinating. Help!

Hi everyone. I've been experiencing an acute, stinging pain near my urethra whenever I am dehydrated. My urgency to urinate increases and when I do urinate, it's uncomfortable and only a little comes out. The pain/discomfort can go away for days as long as I am consistently hydrated; however, it's difficult to maintain and the pain is most prominent in the mornings and at night when I am sleeping or haven't had access to water. The pain is significant and sometimes causes sleepless nights in which I have to stay up and chug water to feel better. I believe the symptoms starting occurring after penetrative sex, which I have been avoiding since. I am positive that my partner is clean of STDs; however, they mentioned they might have had a yeast infection. I have noticed no significant changes in discharge. I am 18 years old, and in good health. Has anyone experienced this? Any help is welcome!

You have a urinary tract infection, or possibly urethritis. These symptoms are very very common in women who are sexually active . You need to see your doctor and take along a small urine sample for testing. He/she will know immediately what is the cause. You probably need antibiotics. Dont delay seeing your doctor...these infections can travel to the kidneys if not treated. You should be able to get a medication,CanesOasis is one,but there are others which are similar. Your chemist will know exactly what you want. Ask for cystitis powders.Take this while waiting to see your doctor, but this medication will not cure the problem. You must see a doctor for that.

Always make sure you use plenty of lubricant when having intercourse.
