Pain level over time

Hi guys just trying to learn more about this wretched stuff. Ive had phn twice first time on my neck and it took prob two to three years for the pain to almost fully subside. Ten years later its about a one to two outta ten and i can still feel it if i apply firm pressure. Totally can live with that. It stated out 9 or ten in pain. This time it all in my abs and lower back stomach wven breathing causes shooting pains. Its been 16 months   Started as a ten its an eight now. Am on no painkillers either time. Thanks guys hope you guys are finding a way to remain optimistic
