Pain - Lower back, hip and backbone

Dear members,

I am around 3 months post op TAH without removal of ovaries.

Had been suffering pain everywhere - shoulder, neck, backbone and the worst is lower back and hip/pelvic bone area. I have tried body massage and acupuncture but it only relieved these pain for a while. Also tried hot pack and abdominal binder but these pain are like stubborn culprit that doesn't want to go away.

Help! any remedy suggestions other than painkiller?

Does Pilates or yoga help to relieve pain?

I am almost 6 weeks post op and also have lower back pain, neck, and right in the center of my back. I have been taking Advil, the heating pad is my best friend right now! I go back to Dr. on the 26th and was going to ask if this normal?

      Hi Heather,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, do ask your Dr and perhaps you could update me.

I went for acupunture session 2 weeks ago and it did relieve neck and shoulder muscle spasm. Maybe you could try it as well.

Went to the Dr. for my last post op visit,he said the back pain had nothing to do with my surgery and to check with my Primary Dr.  I know he's the doctor and everything but my back only hurt like this when it used to be time for my period. I will be 8 weeks out this Wed. and am going to take it easy and hope I continue to heal. Hope your pain subsides as well!
