Pain middle of month is it due to ovarian cyst?

Hi guys,

I wonder if I could pick your brains and see if what I'm currently experiencing is normal.  I am getting a fair bit of pain even though it is the middle of my cycle which I am attributing to the functional cyst.  I just wonder if any of you have had a similar experience and, if so, is there any pain relief that works.  I did take some Nurofen Plus but no effect.

    Hi my pain is all the time. I take co codamol on prescription from my doc at moment 30-500 which are quite strong dose. I'm due to go for a scan in two weeks so hopefully get something done. Hope this helps abit.

      Thanks so much for replying to my query. Going to visit G.P. this evening to get some pain relief.  Best of luck with the scan.  I'm due to have my repeat scan in three weeks.

      Hi Claire,

      It went well from the point of view that he gave me a 3 month prescription for Ponstan  in the middle of the month and a 4 month prescription for Ponstan  with Cykloparon for when the period arrives.

      Being honest I think that he knew that I was not going to leave without him giving me some class of a prescription.
