Pain on ball of foot?

I have a pain (feels like when u push on a bad bruise) on the ball of my foot, it's almost underneath that main point on the ball of foot area. If I push on it it hurts a lot and is very sore feeling, and it hurts a lot to walk especially after sitting for a while.

My question is could be from wearing sandals every day? Being that it's summer I pretty much wear sandals all day, every day. Could this be a plantar facitis type thing? It seems that is more on the heel of the foot than the ball, but the symptoms sound like what I have.

I should mention I've had this pain for about a month now.

Sounds like you got a neuroma, a nerve issue. Better see a podiatrist.

Could be something like a Mortons Neuroma - need to see your doc - think they give a steroid injection for it....good luck and let us know what you are diagnosed with.....x
