Pain on left side OF the chest.

I've been having pain on the left side of my chest. when I say left side. i mean the left side. below my arm pit. I searched the muscle on google and its called "Serratus Anterior". thats the place where the pain occurs.

the pain only occurs when I've been laying on my bed for too long for example when I'm sleeping. this irritates me too much that I'm unable to sleep peacefully. for example if i sleep at 12 am. the pain would start at around 8 am and will carry on until i wake up. the quickest solution to this that I've figured out is to drink a cold glass of water slowly.

it's not just when I'm sleeping on my left side. it occurs no matter what position i am in.

I have taken aspirins but it doesn't help. i explained it to a doctor and he just prescribed me a pain killer too.

i dont know what is this called. anyone who has experienced this or any advice?
