Pain on the left side of abdomen after food poisoning

I have been having persistent pain on my upper left side , under the ribs radiating to the back, after I suffered food poisoning 1 week ago. I have been constipated and very bloated. Passing gas has also been an issue.

I do not know what to do to relieve the bloating.

I do not think this has anything to do with my GERD or hiatal hernia. Or does it?

The pain is dull but always in one spot.

What exams must I require from the doctor?

    This is a serious condition. Go for an exam and treatment immediately instead

    of asking questions.

      In a medical emergency such as yours your questions would better be answered by medical personnel. We are not doctors but a support group trying to put you put you on the right track. Please don't be offended and seek help. Good luck.
