i am sorry your still having said pain. I am 6 weeks out of surgery an still have pressure an pain . BEFORE an bowel movements are some what difficult as well. from what i understand every one is different an it just takes time. try to eat a hi fiber diet . stat away from things that are hard to digest an graze thru the day. seems when i eat a big meal or red meat it is not gut friendly. drink lots of water an take colace as a suppliment . dont strain to go. i do hope that this is help ful an you find relief soon.

      hi

I had a tvh last year and haven't had any issues. please go back to yiu consultant hun and get some answers. yiu should be on the mend by now but I do know it takes 12 months to fully heal I internally.

if you get no answers from your surgeon seek a second opinion, by a new surgeon. its yiur body and yiu know how it feels.

      good luckxxx

it makes me think it could be scar tissue internally . just a thought but if definitely be going back if I was yiu hunx

yes i keep thinking scar tissue but drs dont seem to want to look they just keep saying if its removed it could cause more. i did have a large internal bleed after my hysterecomy and i wonder if all that blood swilling around has cause adhesions too

yes that can happen but I know they dont like to remove scare tissue as it regrown back after each cut.

I hope you can get some answers

I hope you go back and demand answers.thats what I would certainly do.

its bloody hard when we are in pain.

it sounds to me like scar tissue from the bleed yiu had but only he or she will know..

      good luck x

maybe you should go to a gastro doc an have them do a GI . there could be other problen non related. pending on why you had the procedure you had. i had fibroids an things where very crowded . every thing inside is shifting i am sure plus there was so much scar tissue an lesions . endo metriosis andomyoma pre cancerous cells found in the end patholigist report. it was a mess in there gorl. 5 1/2 hours later i am a stired up mess inside. i am for sure it will be a year or two befor i regain my muchness but. to be in the safe side if i were you get it checked. get you report take it to your family doc . have them refer you to a soecialist an go from there best of the best to you . please let me know what you discover.

hi paula i have been refered to gastro had cameras and barum meal follow through all clear..all they could offer is a stoma and that is a route im not prepared to go down the logic behind gastro is that i wont get the pain in i dont use my rectum but i get the pain with sitting too . recently had mri on my lower back that has shown l4/l5 with a bone spur touching s1 nerve so they are looking into that at the moment
