Pain really getting me down

Hi all just wondering if anyone has an idea or anything similar, I keep getting stinging pains in my left armpit and going down my arm and a ache in shoulder, it's virtually all the time, I've had at least 6 ecgs, taken to hospital twice blood tests for signs of heart damage, all fine, doctors keep saying anxiety (I'm not convinced) I now got it in my head it's heart disease and its doing my head in, is there anything else it could be?

I do get pains that start from my neck though going down to my shoulders. Have you checked 100 symptoms of anxiety? What you're describing is similar to them. If your doctors aren't worried then you should try and calm your anxiety down!

Ty I can appreciate that, I've had a history of anxiety but never like this and I wake with it, I'm at home in the most comfortable of situations and apart from those symptoms I'm not anxious in any other way

Try and exercise the arm, if there is nothing wrong, use it

If you have gone through the tranche of tests and you still do not trust your results many would feel like doctors that you distrust their kowledge and that is not a good place to be.

Trust your GP, Specialists and Technicians who have tested and given you a clean slate, I would be over the moon to get a clean slate

I understand what your saying, I agree with other replies on hear there is def pain besides anxiety but I agree that anxiety can exaggerate that, in fairness to doctors there very patient with me and are looking into nerve damage and physio etc, in the space of 3 years I've had a pulmonary embolism, diagnosed with acute sleep apnea and crohns disease, doctor said its not surprising you have health anxiety lol

Hello! Sounds like it could be nerve pain. Have you tried getting massage therapy, or visiting a chiropractor? It can help.

Pain and aches are very common. Anxiety can make you experience these feelings, but it can also make you super aware of them! People without anxiety would probably just ignore that pain. But you can't help thinking about it, which makes it worse. I do this too.

If it was anything serious the medical people would've told you. Try not to worry. Focus on other things if you can. It'll go away in time.

Why does it have to anything to do with your heart? It can be related to digestion as well. Actual nerve pain or radiating there from close by. You checked your heart enough at this point.
